Advantages of DigiFlex Transfer Printing
1. Full-colour digital printing
Delivers vibrant full-color designs, smooth gradients and detailed graphics directly from digital files.
2. No screen-making required
Reduces pre-press preparation and makes it easy to print complex artwork without extra colour-layer costs.
3. Good for custom and small-batch orders
Supports on-demand production, personalization and short-run jobs with fast turnaround.
4. Soft and flexible finish
The transfer film creates a thin, lightweight print area that moves with the fabric for greater wearing comfort.
5. Strong adhesion and durability
DigiFlex transfers are designed to bond well with textiles and offer good resistance to cracking, peeling and washing.
6. Clean and precise edges
Digital production ensures sharp registration, fine detail and neat edges, especially for logos and multi-colour graphics.
Limitations of DigiFlex Transfer Printing
1. Not suitable for very heavy fabrics
May not perform well on extremely thick, heavy or rough materials that prevent efficient heat-press contact.
2. Heat-press dependent result
Final quality is sensitive to temperature, pressure, time and operator technique.
3. Less breathability in large solid areas
Big solid prints can create a film-like layer on the fabric surface, slightly reducing breathability.
4. Higher cost for large-volume production
Compared to traditional screen printing for large runs, DigiFlex can become less cost-effective at very high volumes.
5. Image quality loss on dark fabrics
Dark or coloured garments may require a white underbase, which can affect softness and sometimes create a visible edge.
6. Not ideal for extremely fine details
Ultra-fine lines, tiny text and very delicate patterns may lose detail during the heat-transfer process.
