Debossing

Advantages

Perfect for soft PU foam, silicone, rubber, leather-like materials such as squeeze keychains.

Long service life for deboss mould. Stable effect and low unit cost for mass production.

5. Clean and permanent marking**

No colour limitation conflict with base material; suitable for subtle, understated logo style.

Limitations

1.Only recess shape, NO colour

Deboss only forms indentation. It cannot add colours, gradients or photos. Logo is same colour as product base.

2.Not suitable for ultra-fine tiny details

Very thin lines and small text may collapse and lose definition under pressure.

3. Mold cost required

Custom deboss tooling /metal die charge is needed for new logo, higher initial setup cost for small batches.

4. Surface shape restriction

Best for flat or slightly curved surfaces. Not recommended for sharply curved, narrow or uneven areas.

5. Material thickness requirement

The substrate must have enough thickness and softness. Too thin or hard materials cannot form clear deboss marks.
