Limitations 

1. Limited by product shape & dimension

Works best for regular round /spherical shapes. Not suitable for irregular, heavily contoured, sharp-angle products.

2.Compared with pad printing for simple single-color logos, the per-piece cost is higher for large volume runs.

3. Ink adhesion depends on substrate

Some materials need surface pre-treatment to guarantee ink adhesion and abrasion resistance.

4. Thin ink layer

Long-term heavy friction may cause scratches or fading of the printed pattern.

5. Color deviation risk

Color difference may appear between digital screen proof and the final printed item due to base material color.

6. Equipment setup time

Product fixture adjustment is needed for every new item shape, longer setup time for frequent shape switching.
