Advantages
1. Creates raised, 3D textured effect. The printed logo stands out from the product surface with soft tactile feel.
2. Good ink thickness & wear resistance. Less prone to scratches compared with thin ink printing methods.
3. Strong color hiding power. Can cover dark base materials and keep the printed color bright.
4. Soft ink after curing, suitable for flexible materials like PU foam squeeze toys and keychains.
5. Great visual impact. The embossed logo looks premium and attractive for branded merchandise.
Limitations
1. Not suitable for ultra-fine lines, tiny texts or complex gradient patterns. Fine details will blur after puffing.
2. Limited color registration. Mostly ideal for solid spot colors.
3. Print area cannot be too large. Large area puff print may cause uneven foaming or bubbling.
4. Higher cost than pad print.
5. High temperature is required during curing. Some heat-sensitive substrates may be affected.
6. The raised height is fixed. It cannot achieve variable height on one single print graphic.
