Advantages

2. Excellent protection: scratch-resistant, waterproof, anti-UV, protects printed graphics from wear and fading.

3. Smooth tactile feel, adds premium, high-value texture to products.

4. Can cover minor surface defects on substrates.

Limitations

1. Extra production step increases cost and lead time.

2. Limited flexibility; thick resin layer may crack if applied on highly flexible or sharply curved parts.

3. Sensitive to dust during curing — specks easily trapped inside the coating.

4. Difficult to repair once cured; rework is almost impossible.

5. Not suitable for products requiring matte finish or soft-touch texture.
